Rajesh Makhija – CEO, Wyde

Rajesh, assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer at Wyde in November of 2014. As a CEO, Rajesh focuses directly on company strategy, innovation, marketing and operational efficiencies.

Rajesh has more than 24 years of experience in Technology domain and has been with Mphasis for 15 years. Over the years, Rajesh has produced tremendous growth across a wide spectrum of industry segments including Financial Services and Healthcare.

An experienced presenter, Rajesh has been a guest lecturer at multiple universities in the U.S. and India. He is often called upon to share his insight in cross-industry forums on next-generation technologies, affecting business processes and the state of the global sourcing and outsourcing industries.


Cary Mullen – Two Time Olympian, World Cup Downhill Ski Champion and Entrepreneur

Top organizations, and individuals, are on the constant lookout for ways to get even better at what they do. Cary Mullen, has done ‘anything’ but tiptoe through life. As a two-time Olympian, and World Cup Champion, he has traveled the globe and lived on the edge as a competitive ski racer.

Cary has spent more than 20 years studying the success strategies of high performers. On his way to becoming a World Champion, Cary experienced the upper echelon of success, and what it takes to climb out of the depths of adversity. In his 11 years as a leader on the National Ski Team, Cary persevered through 3 near fatal crashes that left him with double vision and memory loss, to finally regain 100% health

Cary Mullen is the author of “HOW to WIN”- Achieving Your Goals in Extreme Conditions. Since retiring from sport he has expanded his real estate development company internationally.

Cary Mullen is an internationally recognized sports personality, keynote speaker and business leader.


Julia K. Davis – Chief Information Officer, Aflac

Julia Davis joined Aflac in July 2013 in her current position as senior vice president and chief information officer. In her position, Davis oversees the day-to-day operations and the strategic initiatives of Aflac’s Information Technology Division.

Before joining Aflac, Davis most recently served as chief information officer at American Safety Insurance (ASI). Prior to her tenure at ASI, she served as chief information officer of the Equipment Finance Division for GE Capital Healthcare Financial Services and GE Capital Business Productivity Solutions. Additionally, she held IT leadership positions at GE Energy, Armstrong World Industries, Information Builders, Ogden Government Services and CRSS Services, Inc. Davis began her career in the U.S. Air Force as a software engineer and earned the rank of captain.

Davis earned a Bachelor of Science in engineering physics from Lehigh University and a Master of Science in system administration from St. Mary’s University.


Tom Scales – Research Director, Celent

Tom Scales is a research director of Celent’s Americas Life and Health Insurance practice. His research and consulting focuses on industry innovation, operational best practices and vendor technology. His particular passion is on how to best leverage technology to ensure the best customer and agent experience. He also leads a broad range of consulting projects, such as Deep Dive strategies for both insurers and vendors, and a variety of system selection projects.

Tom is an industry veteran. His early experience was primarily with vendors, in a broad variety of roles from the most technical to sales and marketing to executive leadership. Later in his career, he led operations and technology for Crump, the nation’s largest life and annuity brokerage. More recently, he led the operations and technology organizations for Transamerica, for their US Life insurance companies, including both agent and worksite sales.


Curt Olson – Consultant and Advisor to Wyde

Curt Olson is a seasoned insurance executive with a career having progressed through roles of increasing responsibility; including intermediary and customer facing sales, sales management, distribution and marketing executive and President and CEO roles at AIG Benefits Solutions & ING Life Insurance.

At AIG he has been responsible for setting the overall direction of the company, including its long-term strategy, value proposition and mission to change the way benefits are designed and delivered to the employee-benefits and affinity group markets.

At ING he has made significant expense and compensation alignment changes, creating a culture of compliance and maintaining the number 4 ranking in the Korea Life Insurance market. 


Nick Rockwell – Senior Consultant, Eastbridge Consulting Group, Inc.

Nick has over 14 years’ experience in sales, distribution and marketing strategy development, management, training and business leadership. Most recently, Nick brought LifeLock into the voluntary benefits market in 2007, built and ran that business, and achieved 388% sales growth over a two-year period. Nick has had direct leadership experience in the development of distribution, marketing, product and administrative strategies for the voluntary benefits marketplace.

With Eastbridge, Nick serves as the company’s Senior Consultant, helping clients enter the business and develop voluntary/worksite strategies as well as improve their business results. Leveraging his experience with companies, from start-up through maturity, Nick brings new perspectives to the voluntary benefits marketplace.

Nick has been featured in several professional articles including BenefitsPro and Employee Benefit News, which share his insights into broker marketing, voluntary strategies, and non-traditional employee benefits.


Kurt Jackson – Executive Vice President of Sales, GhostDraft

Currently serving as Executive Vice President of Sales for GhostDraft, Kurt is a proven and accomplished sales leader with more than 20 years of experience in the technology sector. Prior to joining GhostDraft, Kurt was Managing Director of Global OnDemand for Pitney Bowes Business Insight, where he launched their new cloud business. As Vice President of Sales for the Insurance Practice, Kurt created the company’s first industry-focused business unit, expanding Pitney Bowes’ presence at tier 1 and mid-tier insurance companies.

As Vice President of Sales at Group 1 Software, Kurt led a team focused on customer communications management, and was instrumental in facilitating the organizational integration with Pitney Bowes after their acquisition of Group 1. Kurt began his career at IBM as a systems engineer serving the Finance and Insurance industries before transitioning into sales for IBM’s Printing Systems Company, where he sold IBM’s enterprise-class printing line. 


Abhinav Dave – Executive Vice President, Vue Software

Abhinav Dave is the Executive Vice President of VUE Software. He started his career with CSSI as lead developer for insurance applications in 1996. Through the years, he has worked on process analysis, business process reengineering, ADM, migrating platforms, portal strategy, and design in different all sectors of insurance. He is also a key contributor and thought leader in technical solution design for several areas of VUE Software platforms including sales, marketing, compliance, and billing. He has been an integral part of VUE software brand development since the inception of the product lines.

To name a few, Abhinav has extensive experience & knowledge in areas of conversion efforts between different platforms, regardless of whether they are legacy or client server and Insurance distribution channels and producer management models. 


Michael DeVos – Senior Systems Analyst, RGA

Michael has worked in IT for 25 years, with prior experience in the retail and finance industries, as well as 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. He is a core member of the team that maintains, supports, and enhances RGA’s Raptor administration system, which was built with eWam on the Wyde Framework. Prior to joining RGA, he had similar responsibilities at Voya/ING, with their Employee Benefits administration system which was also built on eWam.

Mike has been a leader in researching and incorporating new development technologies within RGA’s Group Reinsurance division, using these new technologies in a supporting role around the core Raptor system. With these technologies, Mike helped build a fully automated continuous integration and delivery system around Raptor, as well as a custom web based dashboard and control system for monitoring and managing RGA’s deployed Raptor environments and their users.


Dr. Vinod Kumar Chandrashekar – Chairperson, Wyde Guides

Dr. Vinod Kumar Chandrashekar brings more than 15 years of hands-on experience in information systems, information technologies, and software development to Hannover Life Reassurance Company of America. He has a wealth of knowledge in creating and architecting solutions for the reinsurance world. He is a member in HLR US Strategic committee and plays an active role in short-range and long-range planning, and shaping HLR America’s system landscape.

Prior to joining HLR America in 2010, Vinod served as an Executive Consultant in CGI Inc. He had a wide range of responsibilities including systems, process, and product development. Pre-CGI, Vinod held a position in a newly-found embedded systems development company and played a vital role in the establishment of the company both in terms of systems and technology implementation, and bringing new businesses from university and corporate bodies.


Aditya Amin – Vice President, Global Solutions & North America Delivery, Wyde

Aditya is responsible for NA Delivery Operations & Global solutions portfolio including SaaS). He manages a professional services team of approximately 120 resources across the USA, Canada and India that works very closely with Wyde Product and Pre-sales teams to address some of the most complex business problems within the North American and European Insurance industries.

Aditya has over 20 years of experience in consulting and IT services across various industries (Telecom, Media, Entertainment, Hi-Tech, MFG, Insurance, Healthcare and Capital Markets) and global geographies. In his five years of combined Mphasis and Wyde tenure, he has led various management and leadership portfolios, driving important client as well as corporate strategic initiatives.

Prior to Mphasis, he spent 9 years with one of the Big Four advisory and consulting firms with a consistent and progressively higher management responsibilities, driving significant growth in the practices he managed. 


Cynthia (“Cindy”) Coleman – Vice-President and Head of GTM Strategy & Sales Execution for North America

Cindy joined Wyde in 2012, leading Global Product Management and Marketing. She has now taken responsibility for the development of the Go to Market Strategy and execution of Wyde’s North American offerings, which include Wynsure and Wynsure SaaS.

Cindy has spent over 30 years in the insurance and technology industry. Prior to joining Wyde, she spent 10 years leading product management, marketing and sales teams for leading software vendors and 15 years in insurance business operations for a top global carrier and reinsurer. Cindy has a deep understanding of the importance of bridging business challenges with technology solutions.


Christopher Goetze – Product Development Head, Wyde

Christopher, Product R&D Head at Wyde, has been involved primarily with insurance administration implementations in the Life Insurance and Reinsurance areas. Based out of Wyde’s US headquarters in Bloomington, MN,. With a 16 year tenure at Wyde , Christopher has worked on all aspects of Wynsure implementations, from presales & delivery to post-production support and currently heads product management, development & maintenance teams based in France, North America and India.

Prior to joining Wyde, Christopher managedoffshore QA & maintenance of ING’s Employee Benefits and Reinsurance applications.
